About The Festival
The inspiration for the festival's icon came by the myth of "Leda and the Swan".
Leda, daughter of Thestius and Princess of the Kingdom of Ancient Aetolia married Tyndareus, King of Sparta, and became the Queen.
Leonardo Da Vinci was one of the many who got inspired by the myth and created a series of sketches and paintings.
Most of them are unfortunately lost but re-created by his many pupils (known as the "Leonaderschi").
Among the great painters and artists who created major works of art based on Leda, are:
Raffaello, Michelangelo, Paul Cézanne, Peter Paul Rubens and Jean Thierry.

We hope that with this festival we will help to establish a tradition of cinema and monologues in the city of Agrinio.
